27 years old Julie Bossard from Saint Brieuc started her match racing career ten years ago as a tactician in successful compatriot Claire Leroy’s crew, and then in 2007 took the step to skipper her own crew in an Olympic campaign. Finishing the national trials just behind Claire, she went to London in 2012 as a reserve. Julie is now working as a quality engineer at Airbus, but also doing a new Olympic campaign in the 49er FX. And she is still trying to find as much time as possible to continue racing on the WIM Series.
