As the Sailing Director of the Chicago Match Race Center and an US Sailing Team member aiming for the 2016 Olympics in the 49er FX, 26 years old professional sailor Maggie Shea’s life is all about the sport she loves. In 2012 Maggie, and regular Epic Racing skipper Stephanie Roble, became the first women to win both the US Women’s and the Open Match Racing Championships, an achievement they repeated in 2014. In 2015 they won their first WIM Series event, on their Lake Michigan home waters.
