Martina “Peppi” Karlemo and her Finnish team are veterans of the match racing scene having competed seriously during the boom of 1999 to 2009 before children and careers competed for precious time. During that time Peppi earned several national medals in women’s match racing. Peppi now works as a physiotherapist and has 3 children. This year the team had the goal of qualifying for the World Championship on their home waters, have fun and do their best. Having checked of the first goal in May they are looking forward to checking off the other goals as the year progresses.
