22 years old Sung-Eun lives with her parents in Daecheon on the Korean west coast, and has been sailing for half her life. With Chungnam Yacht Federation as her home club, she has participated in three editions of the prestigious ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship. Having her background in Optimist and Laser Radial dinghies, she began match racing in Busan four years ago, and finished 12th in the 2014 WIM Series final in Busan. Sung Eun is also currently competing on the Chungnam University sailing team.
