Susu Kukkonen is a Graduate Engineer in Industrial Management, living with her husband in the Esbo area, very close to her home yacht club NJK in Helsinki. Kukkonen began sail racing as an adult, though having an Optimist dinghy already as a kid. She has raced successfully in many different keelboat classes, offshore as well as course racing. Since 2000 she’s been into match racing, but not that much for the last couple of years. The J/80 is her favourite, and she wants to get back to the top of the Finnish ranking.
