While not sailing herself, 24 years old Susannah works as a sailing coach at her home clubs the Murray’s Bay Sailing Club and the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron. She has two straight golds in the National Championships in match racing, and in 2012 she finished ninth in the 2012 Olympics crewing skipper Stephanie Hazard. When not match racing she is coaching the NZL National Optimist Team and sailing the Laser Radial. Previously sailed classes are Optimist, 420 and of course the Elliot 6 M.
