Team Nielsen is a Stockholm based team debuting with their first WIM Series event at the St Thomas Carlos Aguilar Match Race 2018. The Skipper Helena Nielsen is a 34 year old engineer working with wind power development in Stockholm. Helena has a background as a handball player but after an injury started sail racing 5 years ago and debuted as a skipper three years ago. The team have different sailing backgrounds but all started racing only 2-5 years ago. Their love for sailing and competitive mindset has allowed the team to learn and develop fast. Today they are extremely happy for the opportunity to compete with the best match racing teams in the world!
