Team Häger is a match racing team from Stockholm. All members of the team have a background in dinghies and have all been part of youth national team in different classes. The team started match race in 2013 when three of the girls had completed their university studies and got jobs in Stockholm. The ambition from the beginning was to practice in local match races and “sail for fun”. Soon, the competitive instinct took over and the ambition changed. In 2015 they made their WIM Series debut at the World Championship and Lysekil Women’s Match with the goal of reaching the top 10 in the women’s match racing world ranking and succeeded.
